Catch Up

I seriously suck at blogging. I thought I would be better for sure. LOL. Here is a little catch up since last time.

Cuda has tripled in size!  She is totally like a toddler.  She gets into trouble all the time. She gets into the garbage daily and terrorizes Kia.  Shelby is obsessed with Cuda's belly.  It's a little weird and I'm a little concerned. I watch Strange Addiction a lot and this could be some weird thing she does her whole life! Hopefully she grows out of it.

Madison continues to do awesome in school and has brought home another report card full of A's.  She finally dared to learn to ride her bike and it was a piece of cake for her.

Ashlyn has been playing T-ball in our churches Primary Sports.  She is pretty sporty and I hope she takes after her mom and plays softball and volleyball! She is still pretty sassy, which can be funny at times and completely frustrating at other times.

Shelby is growing up fast.  She loves Cuda and despite being bit and scratched she snuggles on her daily.  She got the influenza bug in March and it kicked her butt! She had a high fever for 7 DAYS!!! It was a rough week with little sleep. So glad she is okay now.

Our friends Kensi and Justin won some NHRA drag tickets from a radio station in there area, but ended up not being able to make it.  They were nice enough to give us the tickets.  I LOVE the races.  It is amazing to me that those cars can go over 300 miles an hour in seconds! It makes your entire body vibrate when they take off! It was a fun day despite complaining children.  Next time I think I will leave them home.

Adventure Angels

Back in July of 2012 I started this women's group called Adventure Angels.  I was tired of sitting home bored and I wanted to experience things that challenged me.  I knew it needed to be in a group setting because I am highly motivated by peer pressure. :) I have found that being in a group I am willing to try things that otherwise might have scared me before.  We have one adventure per month and I'm thinking of doing a bigger adventure once a year.  I have SO much fun with these ladies every month, I count down the days until the next one. Here are all the adventures we have done so far.

*Paintball- painful, but fun!!
*Indoor Rock Climbing
*Hiking
*Color Me Rad 5K
*Service Project
*Ice Skating
*Laser Tag
*Roller Coasters on the Stratosphere

I've decided to start a blog so those who aren't on Facebook can still find out about our adventures.  The blog address is adventureangelsgroup.blogspot.com

Our next adventure is Karaoke!! We'll see if I have the courage to do it!

Daddy Daughter Dance

The school that my girls go to does a Daddy Daughter Dance every year in February.  This year Ashlyn was able to go because she is in Kindergarten.  She was SO excited.  I took the girls shopping for new dresses and shoes and we curled their hair so they would be BEAUTIFUL.  They didn't stay too long, but they all said they had a really good time.  By the looks of the picture below, I would agree.

Aaron sent me a text with this picture and asked, "Is this too over the top?" Ha Ha Ha
Little Shelby Lula couldn't resist a photo op.

Oh Baby Baby

Aaron's mom brought Cuda to us from Utah on Super Bowl Sunday.  It was love at first sight and smell. I LOVE puppy breath. It is the best! Is that weird? Madison thinks so.  She says its a mixture of tuna and skunk. Maybe that explains it.  I happen to like the smell of skunk.  Anyways, the first night was great! She only woke up at 3am and then again at 5:30am so I felt like I was able to get plenty of sleep.  The next night however was not such a wonderful experience.  She whined ALL NIGHT and just wanted to do the 3 P's: POOP, PEE, & PLAY.  She woke up every 2 hours needing something and she has done so every night since.  Last night I ended up sleeping on the floor so she would shut up. LOL. Who's bright idea was it to get a puppy anyways? What an idiot!! Oh wait.........I'm the idiot!  "Let's get a puppy"  I said.  "It will be so much fun" I said.  "Aaron, I REALLY want a German Shepherd."    I guess I forgot the part about me being a little kid the last time I had a puppy and not having to deal with the whole potty training thing.  Even though I feel like I have a newborn baby, hence the baby announcement, it really isn't THAT bad and it doesn't last THAT long.  She is actually a very smart and adorable dog and despite having to stand in the cold waiting for her to pee, I have fallen head over heels in love with her.

Starting Fresh

So.........I haven't blogged in about 2 years! I know, I know.  SLACKER! I've missed documenting SO many memories.  So I decided if I was going to start again that I would start fresh and redo the whole thing.  So I'm sitting here watching Good Luck Charlie (don't judge) and Teddy has to say goodbye to her boyfriend and so they are hugging each other and crying and carrying on because they love each other SO much(gag).  Then Charlie comes in and says "Why are you crying?" and Teddy says, "because we are saying goodbye and its really hard" and then Charlie says with childish wisdom "Then say Hello".  So, I'm not saying goodbye to my old blog, but Hello to my new one.  Hopefully I can stick with this one and keep it going.
